Complete silence in the room, but inside my head it sounded like an emergency control centre. The eureka phase lasted exactly four seconds, followed by the iconic&nbsp;<em>Blue Screen of Death<\/em>&nbsp;of human consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 1: The Genius.<\/strong><br>\u201cThis is going to be a worldwide hit, a masterpiece, an idea Einstein himself would be jealous of!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 2: The Panic.<\/strong><br>\u201cWhere\u2019s my pen? Where\u2019s my phone? If I blink now, I\u2019m going to lose it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Phase 3: Total government censorship by my own frontal lobe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I knew I had something brilliant.<\/em><br><em>I just couldn\u2019t remember what it was.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So here I am, staring at a blank screen while trying to defragment my internal memory. Somewhere in the distance, I can hear the nostalgic screech of an old dial-up modem, but there\u2019s still no connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>So here I am, waiting for my 65-year-old hard drive to give me access again.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recovery in progress\u2026 3% complete.<\/strong><br><strong>Estimated time remaining: infinite.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Still waiting.<\/em>&nbsp;\ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Posted by J.
